Maximum efficiency, countless configuration possibilities: the new Serie 5
New entry for 2021, the new Landini Serie 5 represents a super versatile utility range.
Thanks to a winning mix of high-level specifications that we are going to look at in detail, the new range is able to carry out any job with maximum efficiency, also thanks to its countless configuration possibilities.
New Stage V engines
Among the possible choices for the new Serie 5, first there is the 4-cylinder, 16-valve, 3.6-litre, Turbo Intercooler FTP engine with electronic injection, available in three different powers, namely 95 HP, 102 HP and 114 HP.
Low consumption is guaranteed by the Common Rail, which delivers the exact amount of fuel required, for reduced consumption and better performance, as well as the 135-litre fuel tank and the 13-litre urea tank that ensure great working autonomy.
Thanks to EGR/DOC/DPF/SCR technology, the new Serie 5 vehicles are Stage V compliant, in accordance with European regulations: full visibility from the operator area is totally safeguarded thanks to the exhaust gas treatment system integrated under the bonnet.

Eight transmission configurations
We have thought of all working needs with eight possible transmission configurations: from the Speed Four 12 AV + 12 RM with mechanical reverse shuttle to the T-Tronic 48 AV + 16 RM with hydraulic reverse shuttle and engagement modulation, Hi-Medium-Low and creeper.
The Serie 5 with hydraulic reverse shuttle can also be equipped with Park Lock, a mechanical transmission locking device that makes it possible to safely park the tractor even on steep slopes.
Hydraulics and hitch
Increased productivity and versatility are guaranteed by the new hydraulic circuit.
In fact, it has a capacity
- up to 82 l/min for services
- up to 32 for steering
- as well as 35 litres of oil that can be used for other functions such as activating tipping trailers.
There are 6 hydraulic spool valves available:
- 3 being mechanically controlled,
- 1 being electrical,
- 2 mid-mounted spool valves for front hitch and front loader that can be combined together (optional)
The following three types of hitches available also contribute to versatility
- mechanical,
- mechanical with ELS system (Ergonomic Lift System) that speeds up headland turns by increasing productivity,
- electronic, being capable of repeating operations and finding positions to ensure accuracy and performance.
Power take-off
The power take-off (PTO) has 2 speeds, which become 4 on request (540/540E/ 1,000/1,000E rpm).
The electrically and hydraulically-controlled clutch gradually engages the engine to achieve smooth engagement and avoid abrupt shaft starts.
In addition, the PTO has remote controls on the fenders for easy attachment of implements, and the Auto PTO function, available with an electronic hitch, automatically engages and disengages the PTO when the hitch is operated during headland turns.
Cab and axles: comfort at the highest level
Among the features of the Serie 5 is also car-level comfort, ensured by the Landini cab and axles, which guarantee reliability in all working conditions and stability during transport.
The new suspended axle option handles rough terrain in the best possible way, providing optimum comfort and safety in every situation.
The 4-post suspended cab, with panoramic visibility, is extremely comfortable. It is a top-notch trimming with all controls ergonomically arranged and its seat can be with air suspension. You can also request a kit for acoustic improvement in the cab and the possibility to have up to 10 LED lights to further increase comfort and ensure excellent visibility even during night operations.
Satellite guidance and ISOBUS
Satellite guidance, controlled by a convenient touch screen display, allows precise steering management while implement configuration and control can benefit from the ISObus system.
The tractor fleet can also be monitored by the Landini Fleet Management telematic system for the efficient control of consumption parameters, hours and areas worked, with a view to improving profitability, productivity and remote diagnostics.

Working and seeding
Open field work such as ploughing, tilling and harrowing, simultaneous operations, heavy-duty work: everything is possible with the Serie 5, which offers reduced fuel consumption, lower engine speed, less vibration and noise.
The geometries of the quick-release couplings and the 3-point linkage allow for convenient and easy attachment and removal of implements. Satellite guidance and the ISObus system ensure perfect management of the entire work site.
Haymaking and working with front loader
The new Serie 5 offers excellent performance in haymaking and front loader handling jobs. Perfectly integrated into the Serie 5 are Landini L20 front loaders that enhance its versatility and operability. The tractor is also equipped with a transparent roof to offer full visibility in every situation.
The new joystick ensures easy management of the various controls (both loader and transmission ones) while the chassis has been designed so as not to reduce ground clearance.
Road transports
The new suspended axle option handles rough terrain in the best possible way, providing optimum comfort and safety in every transport situation.
The new hydraulic circuit offers great productivity allowing handling without difficulty even tipping trailers. The same electronic hitch features the function for compensating the implement’s pitch during road transport.
Landini 5-085: a real all-rounder
The three Serie 5 models are joined by the new Landini 5-085, a smart utility between the new Serie 4 and Serie 5, available on the market since last June.
The Serie 5-085 highlights its great versatility, thanks to its excellent power-to-weight ratio that makes it excel in transport, even on hills.
The new model features a 3.4 litre, 4-cylinder and 8-valve FPT engine, Turbo Aftercooler with Common Rail electronic injection, capable of exploiting to the fullest all the 75 HP available, to guarantee excellent pulling power and ease of operations even in difficult conditions.
One of the unique features of this engine is the best-in-class 375 Nm torque at 1,400 rpm, which makes it similar to a much more powerful tractor.
Thanks to EGR, DOC, DPF technology, the 5-085 is Stage V compliant and meets the anti-pollution legislation without SCR and without urea, hence ensuring a significant decrease in operating costs.
The 34″ rear wheel offers more ground clearance and increased traction, representing another first for the Landini 5-085’s class.
At a style level, the 5-085 benefits from the new Landini Family Feeling, complete with LED lighting and also available with the Blue Icon fit and finish, the exclusive metallic blue livery combined with a wide range of specifications, available even on other Landini models.

- Rear axles with high load capacities together with a wheelbase of 2,171 mm allow the use of multiple implements, guaranteed by an excellent manoeuvrability due to the optimal distribution of the machine weights
