Argo Tractors Ireland Ltd, the newest name in Irish agriculture, has launched itself to the market, existing and prospective customers as well as the agri media at the FTMTA Farm Machinery Show at Punchestown Racecourse this morning, July 5th.
This expansion marks a new phase in Argo Tractors’ European strategy under the leadership of Kevin Phelan, Country Manager for Ireland, a respected and successful tractor marketing executive across the island.
Argo Tractors, one of Europe’s leading tractor manufacturers, is Headquartered in Fabbrico in the northern Italian province of Reggio Emilia, 60 kilometres north west of Bologna.
Welcoming his company’s new subsidiary, which convened on May 10th, Simeone Morra, Business Corporate Director of Argo Tractors, stated:
“This is a further significant confirmation of our global development strategy, which in recent years has seen us consolidate in the European, American and African markets through the opening of new branches and the entry of new dealers and importers who support our strategy and appreciate our tractor’s competitiveness. Landini and McCormick share a common history, characterised by technological and digital development, efficiency, and environmental sustainability. These themes allow us to continue to be at the forefront of innovation and look forward to the future with an abundance of confidence and awareness. We view the Irish market as strategic, which is why we have decided to create a new subsidiary, headed by an experienced and capable individual, Kevin Phelan, who will report directly to our Fabbrico headquarters”.
The creation of Argo Tractors Ireland underlines the commitment of the Landini brand within the market, and reinforces its continued support to its customers and dealer network. Kevin Phelan and his team are looking forward to showcasing both brands at their FTMTA stand in Punchestown.
“I am honoured to be joining the Argo Tractors family,” said Kevin. “This is an internationally acclaimed brand, committed to delivering the best in efficient and contemporary products, combined with its focus on top-class customer service, environmental protection, along with technological and digital innovation.”
Kevin added:
“I’m excited about the role our team will play in the continued development of the Landini brand, expanding the dealer network, market share, genuine part sale and, primarily, to be closer to Irish agricultural specialists who deserve our attention and dedication. We are currently recruiting a team of professionals in sales, technical service and spare parts to ensure that Irish customers receive the highest level of service.”
